With the guild hall being set up we were official. Plenty of jobs came and went, mostly minor ones. Patya would take more clandestine affairs, Leeloo would take anything that seemed important, Darude would sleep in his bed while Weehawk mostly hid in the rafters. Our first big score came when we saved a village from a dream eating hag. We gained some renown, and Weehawk learned of sweet-rolls.
I have never seen such energy. He flew around erratically and spoke unintelligibly. He spent almost all of his gold buying out a nearby bakery, and spent the rest on weekly shipments. Our guild hall would never be without those things. I had never liked sweets personally, but Weehawk craved them, Leeloo loved them, Darude seemed to like em, and Patya tolerated them.
We had some downtime. While Patya was out getting painted, I was approached by Galad. He introduced me to Roland, who would soon become my teacher. He was a blademaster himself, and had agreed to teach me the ways of the order. His training was tough. I would spend my mornings training, my midday on my metalworking, and evenings were spent in the guild hall, that sweet-roll infested guildhall.
A few weeks passed with nothing much of interest going on, that is, until we found a couple interesting jobs. Patya and Leeloo came across a heist while Darude, Weehawk, and I found ourselves setting out to defend a village against an army of undead.
